Launch Of Towards Net Zero: Empowering Regional Communities & Regions Rising National Summit

6 August 2024

The Regional Australia Institute (RAI) will next week release its latest report outlining the regions needs to help drive Australia’s transition to net zero.

RAI CEO Liz Ritchie said the transition will have a profound impact on the nation’s economy, society and environment - with the regions sitting at the heart of this transformation.

Towards Net Zero: Empowering Regional Communities will be unveiled on Tuesday, 13 August 2024.

The report is the third installment in the RAI’s ongoing research into Australia’s decarbonisation goals and makes a number of recommendations regarding the delivery of a ‘just transition’ in regional Australia.
