Regions Rising Tasmania - Launceston
RAI's flagship national event series is coming to Launceston, TAS, with Regions Rising Tasmania to be held Wednesday 23 October.
Building on the success of our recent National Summit, Regions Rising Tasmania will bring together industry experts, regional leaders, government, policy makers and the community sector to address topics relevant to Tasmania, including workforce and skills, circular economy, and digital connectivity and innovation.
Liz Ritchie, CEO of RAI, will be joined by:
- Premier of Tasmania, Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, Minister for Trade and Major Investment, the Hon. Jeremy Rockliff
- Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Hon. Catherine King MP, who will launch RAI's latest research report on the Circular Economy
- Elders State General Manager Tasmania, James Cornish, and many more speakers to be announced.

Our ticketing options are designed to enhance your Regions Rising Tasmania experience. Discounted prices are available for Regional Australia Council (RAC), Regional Australia Council Associate (RACA), and Regional Australia Alliance (RAA) members.
In-person Ticket
This ticket will provide you with full access to the Regions Rising Tasmania event.
Price: $190.00 +GST
Membership: In-person Ticket
This ticket will provide you with full access to the Regions Rising Tasmania event at a discounted price. To access this ticketing option you will need to login using an account associated with your membership.

Cancellation Policy
- The event will be run in accordance with all relevant Government health orders.
- If you are unable to attend due to a positive COVID test or being identified as a close-contact and can show us proof, your ticket can be either refunded or we can provide you with access to a Livestream ticket.
- There will be no refunds issued for live-stream tickets.
- Please contact the RAI directly regarding ticket refunds.
- All cancellations must be made in writing (email) to the RAI.
- Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
- Substitute delegates are welcome; however the RAI must be advised in writing (email) of any substitute delegates who will be attending.
